Provide the professionals with a general overview of the ports functioning and its commercial and operational configurations, so as to facilitate the decision making in matters that involve port activities.

Port Authorities – their attributions and how they work;
Priorities, drafts, tides, pilotage, towage, anchorages, etc.;
Cargo clearance process (inbound and outbound);
Import and export terminals at port vicinities – definitions and how they operate;
Private and public tariffs;
FLT, FIOS and variables;
Laytime, demurrage, dispatch and
Operations documents (MR, B/L, SOF, etc.).

Main cargo segments:
Full container – characteristics of the ships, operations model and terminal configuration, equipments, etc.
Bulk – bulk carriers and its characteristics, operations model, discharge and loading shore equipments, etc.
General Cargo – types of ships, stowage issues, cargo damages, equipments, etc.
Liquid cargo – tankers and its main characteristics, terminals configuration, loading and discharge operations, etc.
